Throughout our product listings in the store and our Facebook & Instagram pages, you'll see MANY varieties of previously created pieces to give you ideas and inspiration! Additionally there some designs featured here that have been retired and are no longer available - they are in this guide for stone design examples only.
Available Fleck Colors:
Metallics: Silver, Gold, Copper
Colors: Light Blue, Dark Blue, Light Purple/Dark Pink, Dark Purple, Pink, Red, Light Green, Dark Green, Brown
Clear flecks have a rainbow effect and are highly recommended in addition to any colored fleck choice to enhance their brilliance
Please note that not all of our pieces can accommodate flecks. See specific listing for availability.
Available Shimmer & Recommendations:
Pearl shimmer has cool, silvery tones. It looks stunning when mixed with flecks and is beautiful in milk. It honors the natural color of milk while adding sparkle.
Gold shimmer is a our warmest shimmer. It looks stunning when mixed with flecks. Gold shimmer also looks wonderful in milk and enhances warm, creamy tones. This is especially beautiful when paired with a gold or rose gold setting.
Moonstone shimmer is only recommended for milk. It is NOT recommended for use with flecks. It whitens and brightens milk, and decreases yellow tones. It has a mother-of-pearl effect in milk.
Aurora shimmer is recommended for milk, hair, flowers, and lighter umbilical cords. Will not show up well in placenta or dark colored ashes. It creates a purple iridescence in the light. Our most subtle shimmer available, and a perfect pairing with clear flecks for our "milky opal" effect.
Smoke shimmer is a dark, gunmetal color. It is recommended for brown or black hair, placenta, or ashes or soil. A great choice for a more masculine look.
If you would prefer a heavy or light amount of shimmer please note your preference in the "Additional Notes" prompt during checkout.

Tints can be used in any breastmilk design.
Tints can be used in hair-only designs with coordinating fleck colors. Artist reserves the right to use discretion to omit tinting in hair-only designs should it interfere with a satisfactory outcome of the piece.

Exclusive Color Blends

ADDITIONAL DESIGN NOTES:
- Writing "defer to artist" is recommended for giving us creative license with your cremation, placenta, and hair pieces to choose a shimmer or highlighting fleck element that we feel will best blend with your specific inclusions.
- Dried flowers must often be broken down and crushed and can rarely be left whole. For very small bezels, flowers may require powdering.
- Both ashes and hair become a slightly deeper color when encased in jewelry versus when "dry"
- Shimmer is heavily recommended in your cremation jewelry for a smooth visual transition of the piece.
- Shimmer is heavily recommended in placenta pieces for a smooth visual transition of the piece.
A NOTE ABOUT HANDMADE JEWELRY:
Every piece of jewelry is made by hand and made individually. This means that no two pieces will ever be the same. Textures, colors, amounts used, and other factors all go in to how each individual piece turns out. The photos on the website are basic examples of the design style and there is no guarantee that your piece will look identical. Please allow for variances in how your pieces look.
By ordering through Sacred Legacy Arts you have chosen to have a handmade piece and you may see evidence of that in your jewelry. Common variations in handmade DNA resin jewelry include small air bubbles, molding lines and seams, variations in placements, and evidence of hand shaping and molding parts of your jewelry. Very rarely is there uniform "perfection" in handmade resin work, and to invest in SLA jewelry is to invest in handmade and all the variations that may come with your piece.
